Mary Hynes Danielak, Psy.D. Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Danielak is a licensed clinical psychologist and has been practicing since 1990. She brings a personalized, professional approach to therapy, counseling and testing in a private setting. She is one of the founders of The Counseling and Development Center, and has been located in Alpharetta since 1994. Dr. Danielak has professional affiliations with American Psychology Association, Georgia Psychology Association, and International Dyslexia Association, the International Neuropsychological Society.

 

In addition to providing testing, assessments, and therapy, Dr. Danielak is a certified Cogmed Working Memory Training provider. Cogmed is a research-based solution to improve working memory, attention and focus.

 

Dr. Danielak completed her Doctorate and Masters in Clinical Psychology from Forest Institute of Professional Psychology, and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa. Her clinical training includes work with adults, adolescents and children, both in coursework and clinical experiences.

 

Dr. Danielak is married with three children and has learned an infinite amount from being an active parent, which she incorporates in her therapy.

Jamie Hernandez, M.S. Psychometrist

Since obtaining her Master's degree in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of New Orleans, Jamie has been working as a testing and assessment specialist. She has been with Dr. Danielak as a part of the Counseling and Development Center for the past nine years. She loves working with children, particularly ensuring that each child is comfortable with the testing and evaluations that take place in our center. Jamie is a strong advocate of early intervention, and an even stronger advocate of making the testing process an enjoyable one! Jamie lives in East Cobb with her husband, daughter, and cat.

Cogmed Coaches & ADHD Coaches

Margot Vetrovsky, B.A. Cogmed and ADHD Coach

Margot earned her B.A. in Psychology from Kennesaw State University in 1995. Since graduating, she has worked with children and adults with varying disabilities and challenges, including ADHD and Dyslexia. Margot has been a part of the Counseling and Development Center as an ADHD /Executive Dysfunction Coach and a Cogmed Coach. As an ADHD Coach, Margot works one-on-one with clients who are facing daily challenges of ADHD. The coach’s role is to help the client reach their goals in a positive, encouraging, supportive and non-judgmental manner. The process is collaborative and action oriented. Her goal is to help anyone who wishes to successfully navigate this path successfully.

Adrian Coile

Adrian received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Georgia.  She has been working in various public facing positions prior to joining Dr. Danielak in the Summer of 2022.  She is passionate about making every patient she speaks with feel heard and will be attending a Master's program in clinical psychology at the University of North Georgia in the fall of 2023.
